Losing interest:
“Things have not been going right.”

Hey Terra,

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 1 year. Lately I see him with some of his friends, and I just sit there and wonder what it would be like to be with them. It's not that I don't love my boyfriend, but things just haven't been going right. So there for the thought of cheating sounds more, and more exciting? Please help. I don't want to blow a good thing, but also I'm young and not married to him!

Thinking of Cheating

Dear Thinking of Cheating,

If you and your bf have agreed to only date each other and you want more "excitement," then you should break up with him. That's a lot better than pretending to be exclusive and thinking about cheating, which is a form of dishonesty even if you haven't actually done it yet.

Think about it this way, how would you feel if you found out that your bf was having sexual fantasies about your friends?! Is that someone you'd want to stay with?

In friendship,

Terra
