From just friends to more?:
“What does he really think of me?”
Hey Terra,
I need your help. OK. There is this guy that I met in August and then my mom started to work where he did. I went to work with my mom on her first day and me and him started to talk and I gave him my number and we started to talk. Ever since then we have become better friends. He knows that I like him but when my friends ask him how he feels about me he won't say how he feels he just says, "She will find out." But I never find out.Well, we started to call each other and started to hang out with each other. I had my one friend ask him if he would ever go out with me and he said he's gonna not say anything... I don't know if I should forget about it or not because I don't know what to do. Got any Idea?
Hoping
Dear Hoping,
Call off your friends. If you want to go out with the guy and you've spent 7 months in the "friends" mode, why not just ask him out yourself? The direct approach in this situation is much better. All of these questions from friends of yours are probably embarrassing the guy. He doesn't need to tell THEM how he feels about you or whether he's going to make a move... If you want to know how he feels, ask him.
If he can't give you a straight answer, then ask him out. If he says anything other than "YES!" then I'd suggest you back off from your fantasy that he want to be your bf.
I hope this helps.
In friendship,
Terra
