Annie Fox for Teens... Hey, Terra!

Annie (AKA Hey Terra!) has been around long enough to have experienced a lot of what Life can dish out. But, it hasn’t been so long that she's forgotten what it's like to be your age. Check out some of the thousands of email questions teens from around the world have sent to Terra. You may learn something useful from her answers:

Parents:
“My parents don't trust me or my boyfriend.”

Hey Terra,

I have a very nice boyfriend and my parents don't trust him. He has been over a lot and they still don't trust him as much as they should by now. I have known him for 3 years now and gone out with him for a month. I want to go to his house but they won't let me. I think they might think we might have sex or do drugs. But we have not done anything bad. I don't do that kind of stuff. What do I do???

Trust Me and Him

Dear Trust Me and Him,

I suggest that you have a calm, respectful conversation with your parents and find out why they don't trust you and let them know how it makes you Feel NOT to have them trusting you.

Talk to them and find out what is at the bottom of this.

Let me know what happens!

In friendship,

Terra
